The hubbs and I are heading to Las Vegas today. The kiddos are perfectly content to hang with my parents for a few days, riding horses, off-roading and creating a ruckus in the great outdoors so we don't feel guilty in the slightest. We've lined up some fabulous shows and we're going to indulge in some incredibly yummy food. Not to mention the pool....we will be all. over. that.

So looking forward to a getaway with my husband. We never had a honeymoon and after our 10th anniversary passed us by, it finally hit us. We don't have to set aside a week and find babysitters to have a honeymoon. We can find that kind of time every weekend if we like. Every day is an opportunity for us to get to know each other again, to surprise each other with something thoughtful or romantic. This concept has really opened our eyes to what it means to truly nurture a relationship. I am so grateful everyday for the new things we learn together.
These few days will be a much needed break from the everyday and a chance for us to spend some real quality time together. I am so. stinkin. excited. :)
