a new kit!!
Ok, hopefully my CT won't freak out on me because I finished ANOTHER one. hahahaha. Those girls are overworked! :) But this has been in the works for almost 2 weeks and that is too long for me. So, I have been working pretty slowly on it (don't want to piss off Dr. Kim) and I am so happy that it's done! I wanted to create a kit that had all the essentials...really well-designed embellishments that a digi-scrapper could go to time and time again. I have always wanted one, so I was sure it would be loved by at least a *few* others out there. Hopefully you will agree. So, without further ado- my new kit:
It's purdy wonderful even if I do say so myself. :) This will be hitting the boutique tomorrow! Yay!!
In other scrap news: I had 2 CT resignations today. Both totally unrealated, but still unexpected. I am really excited because one girl is being given AWESOME opportunities and I'm so glad she's pursuing them. The other girl needs to focus on more important things in her life and I TOTALLY get that. I'm so happy they were both comfortable enough with me to let me know instead of trying to keep at it. Yes, of course, I am sad. And there will always be that bit of me that wonders if there was anythign I could have done to keep them, but in the end, I'm happy that they will be happy. That's the way it should be. So, now I'm down to 6 girls. That is- if i don't have any more resignations in my inbox! hahahaha
Health update: I am feeling MUCH better! I have been drinking so much more water! My poor bladder! But it helped. Thanks, Kim ;) I really thought I was drinking enough, but I added 3 more liters a day and it really helped. Also, I started carrying Norah around in a cloth sling. Instead of balancing her 'free-hand' on my shoulder with one arm...I just wrap her around my body in this sling and she loves it and I put less stress and tension on my body. Love it! And I really have been taking it easy. We've been going to bed early and I've been waking up even more refreshed.
Norah update: This child is going through a perpetual growth spurt!! She wants to nurse ALL DAY LONG! It's crazy! So, we've been suplementing with a little formula to keep her satiated (I just flat out dont' make enough) and she's just getting chubbier by the minute. It's adorable. I'll take more photos soon. Promise!
Lara and Mia are as rambunctious as ever! They've been so sweet lately with the baby. I just love it. Such GREAT little helpers! I can't believe I have 3 daughters!!
Colin is really enjoying working 'days' again....we actually have time to play boardgames now and hang out. The weather is warming up and I can't wait to grab a beer with him and sit out on our balcony after the kids go to bed. I miss that.

bad day
Dog tired and worn out. I am so glad it's Friday. Today I starting cramping up. EVERYWHERE. I don't know what the hell is going on, but it's freaking me out. My left bicep and tricep, my right hip, both my hands and my neck. At any given moment one of them is about to cramp up. Have you ever had a 'charlie horse' in your neck? Talk about crying-your-eyeballs-out kinda pain! It hurts!! What is wrong with me!??!!? I'm hydrated, I get enough potassium and vitamins and I am rested. Well, after today I don't feel rested, but I have been getting plenty of sleep this week. This is just bizarre. I need to go to bed. :(

Ok, there's a little look-see at what I've been scrapping lately. And I am trying to decide if I should get a new camera or a fabulous new laptop...hmmmm....such a HARD decision! I want a new camera so bad! I absolutely love our camera! It's wonderful! (Thanks Dad!) But man, I would love something that didn't have a delay! That would be so awesome! Especially with 3 unpredictable divas! But, oh a new laptop....sigh.....to make my designing easier! Our comp is a DINOSAUR! I HATE that it takes me so long to design. I can literally do chores and clean while I design- it takes THAT long between steps. :( Maybe someday I'll have a couple of new toys. Where's a fairy godmother when you need one? Ok, I have to end this. Left hand is cramping up. GEEZ! What's my problem!!?!?!

Here are some layouts I did recently! Taking advantage of one of Norah's naps! :)
journaling: This was really special for me. I hadn’t seen my Uncle Woo for 16 years. And as luck would have it, he was coming to Germany. He actually stayed in a hotel 10 minutes from my house. my girls were very excited to meet him as was i. this is what life is all about- family and connections. he is still as sweet and caring as he always was. and i think he really enjoyed meeting my children and husband even if it was only for an hour at the frankfurt airport. a coke, some nachos and the chance for 6 people to connect and relate as a family. priceless. this is what i want my life to be about. connections. 12february2006
Hope you liked them! Most of the embellishments and papers are by me with the exception of a few from Iron Orchid.
And I'm so proud to announce that I am on their creative team!!! YAY!! Sally and Josie are just WONDERFUL and I am so lucky to be a part of their little group!! So I will definitely be using their stuff a lot more and I can't wait to see the new things up their creative sleeves!
Ok, now I have to go pick up the kitchen! Norah's still napping, so I finally have a chance!! :)

is priceless. For some reason, wherever I go in life, I meet a 'forever' friend. I have been truly blessed in this aspect. I don't consider myself a social butterfly. I am just as picky and choosy regarding friends as I am in every other aspect of my life. And today I want to thank a very special friend that I miss very much. I received this in the mail from her today. :)
She knows I hate for her to spend her hard-earned teacher's pay on us, but I haven't figured out how to stop her. ;) I was soo tired today and feeling really run down and I got woken up from a much needed nap. Then the doorbell rang. And the postman had this. It TOTALLY lifted my spirits and I am just so thankful for her and her friendship and kindness and love towards our little family.

It's one of my favorite photos from when my mom was here. AND I got to try out those delish 'Iron Orchid' papers I posted the other day. Aren't they beautiful??!! They really make the layout. I just get so happy when I look at this layout. It's my fave digi layout of all time! Like I said...*yummy*!
