I'm so incredibly excited about this debut. For 1, I got to work with one of my favorite digi designers, Liz of paislee press and 2, I got to work with Liz of paislee press! I don't really know what gets me more excited; working with Liz or seeing the final result of our collaborations. She truly has the Midas touch.
Liz and I are huge fans of scrapping the little moments in life; those small, seemingly insignificant details that, in the end, are the glue that holds all the "big" stuff together. We need to take time to pause each day and reflect on and capture the habits, quirks and routines that define ourselves and our loved ones.
You Are Here is a travel-inspired kit full of easy ways to help you document what's going on in your life right now. It's a playful twist on being "present" and acknowledging the daily goodness and sweet little things happening right before your eyes.
And no shop update from me would be complete without a template! Don't forget! You always get a bonus QP every time you purchase one of my templates!
Every silly instance is a peek inside someone's heart.
Every special moment deserves the spotlight.
Looking for a chance to win this kit? We've gotcha covered! Simply comment on this post before Wednesday June 30th 11:59 pm (EST) and tell me something you're loving about your life right now. I've loved seeing what the creative team at js.com has been creating with my newest kit. So much fun to see it in action!
WOW! Talk about a successful blog hop! Thanks so much, everyone, for stopping by! It was so much fun seeing what all the designers and creative team members came up with. :) I'm excited to peruse the gallery now and see what everyone's created with their AWESOME pieces! :)
It's Monday again and that means another fabulous shop update over at JS.com. So if you missed out on the blog hop you can still pick up the mini kits!
I've been buried in Photoshop for the past week because I had this kit in mind and I just wasn't going to be satisfied until it was all done. :)
Father Time (as in: Father Time & Mother Nature, not like "daddy time") is a kit that's been swirling around in my head for weeks. I'm trying very hard to be "present" and really enjoy every day and every opportunity right now. Not 5 years from now, not ten. Right now is so important and I want to train myself to be more focused on today rather than tomorrow. So I created Father Time in an effort to capture all those sweet little moments in life that are memorable. I don't want to forget a thing!
The papers, unintentionally, were inspired by men's clothes. At first I'd just planned on making the papers as beautiful as possible and versatile for both boys' and girls' layouts but then it evolved into something I'd decorate a boy's room with!
I had so much fun with the accents for this kit! My mind started spinning with all the different ways I could convey a sense of time. The clocks were the first images to come from that and then the butterflies and pause button just squeezed their way in there as well. This accent pack was so much fun to come up with! :)
And, of course, no shop update would be complete without a template!
And don't forget! Every one of my template packs includes a bonus Quick Page! The page below is the one included with this week's template.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I look forward to seeing you again and don't forget to link me to your layouts! I love seeing what you come up with. :) Happy Monday!

I've seen a couple of images floating around blog land for a seriously cool Father's day gift and I knew it was the thing we had to make this year.
Tori over at js.com made this super elven kit for her husband. We are BIG TIME LOTR fans around here so I was happy to see such a geeky twist on this idea.
Every Thursday is Hybrid Thursday and it is really inspiring. I just love seeing what the gals come up with!

So, being the super geek that I am, I decided to make my own nerdy version for Colin. We are big fans of Star Trek (I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before!) and that was the theme we went with. It's a UFC ration box packed by 3 very special little cadets for Captain Crowley's long road ahead during the Borg war.
I know everything looks similar and it's definitely not as cool as the previous two, but it is supposed to be a ration box. I wanted it to look a bit uniform and standard issue-ish. :)
We're driving to Legoland in the morning so I'm going to sneak this into the car and we'll surprise him with it on Sunday morning.
This isn't his only gift, though. For his heroic efforts during the Borg invasion, the Klingon high council has bestowed quite an honorable gift upon Captain Crowley. Only the finest warriors are given the Boar Flagon.
I hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day on Sunday!
I know I've been a really bad blogger lately but it's for really good reasons! I've been devoting my time to my little family and we've been getting lots of things done. Bike riding, gardening, renovating, parties, birthdays, etc. It's been lovely. The weather has been really nice for almost 2 weeks now and we are taking full advantage of it.
Wanna see where we spend our time?
What irks me most about moving all the time is leaving behind things that I really love. I really love this garden. It will be very hard to leave this house because when I go in my backyard I feel like we've stepped into a Pottery Barn catalog.
We also had a huge housewarming party on Saturday and in anticipation of 50+ people showing up, we picked up a couple of these German beerfest tables. You see them almost everywhere beer is served. They're very typically German and I'm excited we have a couple of sets now. I like them so much better than a "dining room" type backyard set. They're very streamlined and simple.
I hope you enjoyed this little tour of our garden. I'm off to bury my head in Photoshop. I have the itch to get some designing done! :)
