Yay! It's finished! It seems like every new kit of mine takes more and more out of me. I spend so much more time on them and learn so many new things. And I really REALLY love the way this one turned out! The images from Portobello Rd have really stuck with me. Laura and I saw the most amazing and unique antiques and I just fell in love. And we only got to see half! We could have spent all day there! I just adore London! So, without further ado:
This sweetie will be in the DigiChick boutique next Thursday. And if you post here I will put your name in a mini drawing to win it before it's released. You have til midnight EST Saturday! :)
In other news, my dad called me and let me know that my brother's biopsy came back negative! I am so relieved!! I just can't stand to think of him in pain or suffering. So, hopefully he will heal quickly and be back in tip top shape soon!
I am going to try to convince Colin to take the girls to Taunus Wunderland this weekend. Lara brought home a flyer from school for this park and they have been talking about going on the 'dragon' ride for days now. We just need to figure out how far away it is. And since we have a long weekend, I thought we could go somewhere and have some fun. I'm tired of renovating!
I hope everyone has a fabulous 4th weekend! I really miss the fireworks and the tailgate parties and the celebrating! Speaking of fireworks, Laura has some preety cool goodies in the works. Can't wait til she's done!
And check out this little sweetie:
It's Dell's little gaming laptop. I want it so badly. I really hate sharing a computer. Not because I'm selfish, but because there just isn't enough comp to go around. We don't have enough room for another desktop and a laptop would be so wonderfully portable! Plus I need something with a TON of RAM. I just wanna FLY in Photoshop! Our newest desktop is almost 3 years old and it just isn't cutting it anymore. So I am diligently saving my pennies and foregoing treats and impulse spending. I'm almost halfway there, but it will be probably another 6 months til I can afford to get it without charging it. I hate credit cards and this is defintitly NOT something to get my family in debt over. Sigh.....patience is NOT one of my strong points! :( Well, I need to get off the computer for today. Lots of stuff to do and I don't wanna waste my weekend in the house doing projects! Ciao for now! :)
